Can you tell me when my Honda Z50 is built? The VIN is JH2AB020*DS4*****.

Your Z50R is built in 1983 and your engine number should start from AB02E-5400001 and up.

Hi Glen! According to my data, your numbers fall into the range of 1979, Z50R, AB02E-5000001, AB02E-5099999, 6 Volt Points Engine

It is also mentioned in the VIN database, but I just noticed that searching that database yields problems so I shall fix that. :)
