4-Stroke.net abides the law and is very strict in protecting your privacy when you register here. In order to comply with the new 2012 Privacy Statement law, we have rewritten this statement in an easily readable form. This simplifies things a lot for you and us.

BY REGISTERING:

* You are able to comment on articles on the main website. (www.4-stroke.net)

WHAT 4-STROKE.NET DOES WITH YOUR PERSONAL DATA:

* Your email address may be used occasionally to send you a newsletter. This will happen rarely and only when a very important message has to be sent around like system changes, term changes, anniversaries or to reach out for help for a good cause.
* Your personal data will never, ever be sold, rented, lended, given away or exposed to anyone, except when a court order is presented to investigate a criminal case.
* Your password is not stored in plain text, but is stored in an encoded way. This makes it even for us impossible to see what your password is. In case you lose your password, you will need to use our password retreival system. Requests to manually change your password will be denied if the password is to be sent to an e-mail address other than the one you have registered with. If you do not have access to that e-mail address any more, then we will ask proper indentification in the form of a copy
of your passport or ID card. And even then we will ask you a few security questions.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US IN REGARDS TO SECURITY:

* Security measures are constantly updated and tweaked.
* This website triggers automated alerts in case of attempts to gain unauthorized access.
THIS SAID, WE CANNOT GUARENTEE 100% SECURITY SINCE THERE IS A KEY(HOLE) FOR EVERY LOCK.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

* We expect you to behave in a normal and civil manner. More exact rules in this regard can be found on our forum.
* We expect you to provide a source mention or backlink if you use our downloads, documentation, atricles and photos.
