Driving on a moped in The Netherlands can be a challenge, especially if you are confonted with a jungle of traffic signs.
It's basically as follows:
WITHIN the city limits, you have to drive on the main road, OUTSIDE the city limits you have to drive on the bicycle path.
There are some exceptions which are noted with one of the following traffic signs:
YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRIVE ON ROADS INDICATED WITH THE FOLLOWING SIGNS:










YOU HAVE TO DRIVE ON ROADS INDICATED WITH THE FOLLOWING SIGNS:



THE FOLLOWING SIGN INDICATES THAT YOU ARE CROSSING A CITY LIMIT AND YOU WILL/MAY SEE ONE OF THE THREE SIGNS AS SHOWN ABOVE.
